Mahi Mahi

Latin name: Coryphaena hippurus

Origination : Whole Round, Fillet, Steak.

    The Mahi Mahi is also known as Dorado or Dolphin fish (not related to Dolphin). In Vietnam, Mahi Mahi can be found from sizes of 01 to 10 kgs/pc, sometimes they can reach to 20 kgs/ piece. As raw material, its meat color is a little light pink and would turn an off white when cooked.

    In Vietnam, Mahi Mahi is distributed mainly in central coast of Vietnam and collected by hooks or trawl with targeted nets for this specie.
